{Food} Ribalta Pizza, NYC

What a cute Pizza restaurant! I went to Ribalta Pizza in union square for lunch, and I just adore the super high ceiling windows (ask for the window seats if you wanna take pictures!) and delicious food! I am no expert in pizza and to be honest that's my late night hangover food in most case, or on a game night, or occasional craves...I can go on... long story short, I love pizza but I don't really sit down for it, until I found this place! This place has a super warm & cozy vibe, it's an elevated casual chic place that most girls would find it cute! I recommend going there on a girls' night out or even a date for the its interior and food!

Ribalta offers Neapolitan cuisine, specializes in Neapolitan pizza, you can also find pastas and appetizers on the menu. We ordered the Ribalta Pizza with Mozzarella, Italian sausage, and broccoli rabe. I love broccoli rabe on a pizza, it taste very hearty and healthy at the same time, the slight bitterness of the broccoli rabe balances out the creamy cheese. I definitely eat more than I should. The pasta is Penne Al Ragu Napoletano, the flavor is straight and center, very yummy!

Union Square Greenmarket is a lively outdoor market that opens Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat, offering produce, cheese, bread, flowers & more. It's a 5 minutes walk from the restaurant. You should definitely stop by after your meal!
