{Travel} Hudson, NY
I visited Hudson two weeks ago and was very impressed by this little town! Some people called Hudson the Upstate's Downtown, and what a perfect way to describe it. I was blown away by the artistic boutiques on Warren Street, especially the antique shops and the furniture stores. Each shop has its own design aesthetic and has been well showcased through their window. Moreover, the restaurants in this town are all sooo pretty! For restaurant, I recommend Crimson Sparrow for its Asian flavors with French cooking technique.
Walking in this peaceful, creative and delicious town is a true excursion from the city. 2 hours away from Manhattan by AMtrak or driving might provide you more flexibility if you want to explore more.

It feels like walking through and dining at an art gallery. With spacious interior and less seats, it provides intimacy for each table. It also provides private dining area that's great for parties!
Bar food, I love love love the Shrimp Chip, Edamame, Togarashi dish!

Chef John is the chef owner of Crimson Sparrow, he's also a painting artist when he's not cooking. His food is very delicate and refreshing, flavors are very well balanced and the presentation is simply artistic. I didn't feel stuffed after eating a 15 courses meal! They also have an extensive sake and wine menu that provides great pairing for the food.
They have a beautiful backyard dinning space open in the summer. You also get a view of the spacious kitchen prepping food!
